I just recently got an itouch and i used to have an ipod nano. How do i download the music from my nano to my itouch? do i have to download music to my computer first then download? Or can I sync music from itunes or something? by the way what is syncing?

you had your music in your itunes library to sync to your nano so just plug in the ipod touch instead and it will sync it

I know, you might think i’m stupid but i just ogt a mp3 player and idk how to download music to it. I know some websites to download music, but idk how to download the music! Do you have to like connect the mp3 player to the monitor or something i don’t get it!!
BTW where can i buy a usb port?

You plug the mp3 player into your computer. Usually it is a usb port (short and flat like).
Then you open up the window where you can view the files in the mp3 player. I go through my computer to do that.
Then you move music files from your computer to your mp3 player.

I attempted to do this once with a Pearl MP3 player, which deleted my songs a long time ago. To make matters worse, I am at school. So how do I download music onto my Pod safely? Please display the process in steps. Thanks to all answers out there!
