The Food and Wine Festival at Disneyland

Recently at the Disneyland Park in Southern California (the California Adventures side) they have been hosting the Food and Wine festival. I was lucky enough to be there this last week for the tail end of it. It is quite an interesting festival where you were able to taste some excellent wine paired with a variety of food and desserts – A true pleasure for anyone that considers themselves to be a true “foodie.” There was even an area that was focused on tasting beer, but being from Oregon (which has more micro breweries than anywhere else in North America) I really did not think the beer walk would have much to offer me… California Wine Clubs

Valencia has just experienced its coolest August in the last ten years and if today’s weather continues as is then it may be the coolest for a very long time. We were promised a long, hot, sticky summer as June had Valencia’s hottest ever day at 38.2ºC but then in August the plot was well and truly lost. Today I saw some people with coats on!
