How can I turn off the sceeen and still listen to music on my computer?

I like to listen music on a jazz station but don’t want to burn the screen on monitor,is there away to turn it off and still listen to music?

well if you don’t have an apple i think you can make the screen to turn off after a couple of minutes of inactivity on control panel.
