   @rimakala well, we have to be fair here in saying that celine has had a lot of her *own* hits … BUT … it seems like she wants to prove to the world that she can take on the big female singers by doing their hits *better*. let’s see, she’s done aretha franklin, barbra streisand, cyndi lauper, patti labelle, heart, and i’m sure i’m leaving some out. all these women have big voices and at one point been HUGE in the music industry. who’s left? linda ronstadt and donna summer. you’ll see….

    @bconsitt: I don’t think Celine is trying to beat Ann Wilson, she just covering the song in a “Celine” way. But you do have to give Celine credit for hitting the high notes at the end, something many singers who cover this song skip.

    @visual00983 Yes she can. And from her most recent tour, she can hit those notes with a ten times better mix and more resonance than Celine could ever do.
