    I believe there’s more to the music of Glass then few technical tricks. What realy makes it great is the structure of a whole. That is unique to each composition made by him.

    always thought of Glass pieces as minimalist composition, the placement of elements holds the weight, they are meant to seem familiar and repetitive to help you see the motion of those elements as the emotional pattern unfolds. you play very well btw

    you’re totally right! I draw, improvise acoustic guitar (not really good at it, but hey, it works) and people only look at technique, not emotion. I could play really fast heavy metal, and wow people only by technique, but when I play something that gives me a better feeling, a more full-filling feeling, they say ”how easy and slow, you’re still not that good, but it’ll come”, I hate it..
